For the 6th year running, Clonakilty & Dunmanway Credit Union are delighted to organise a CASH FOR COLLEGE free cash draw for any students in our common bond who will attending College or an Apprenticeship in Autumn 2024. The Cash For College Draw has been set up to help with the many costs of college.

3 lucky students will WIN €1500 CASH!! All you have to do is be/become of member of Clonakilty & Dunmanway Credit Union and get your entry in before 30th September 2024 to be in with a chance of winning!

The Cash For College Draw has been named to honour the late Kevin Mullen and his contribution to the credit union movement.

Kevin joined Clonakilty & Dunmanway Credit Union in the 1970’s and was a member of the Board of Directors at the time of his death in 2019.

His involvement with the youth was his greatest achievement and many youngster and not so young would remember Kevin compeering in the annual credit union schools quiz both in the Clonakilty and Cork Chapter stages.

Terms and Conditions apply

  • The Cash for College draw will be a once-off payment to 3 winners of €1500 cash each.
  • Entry forms are available in our Clonakilty or Dunmanway branch or apply online.
  • You must be attending a Third Level College/Apprenticeship in the year 2024/2025.
  • You must open or hold an account with our Credit Union before 30th September 2024.
  • A parent/guardian/family member cannot use their own account details to enter on behalf of the applicant. Students must enter using their own credit union account.
  • Only one entry per student.
  • Completed entry forms will only be accepted.
  • Applicants must intend on completing a full time Diploma/Degree at a Third Level Institution, apprenticeship or a full time PLC and produce satisfactory evidence to that affect.
  • Entry forms must be completed in full and returned to the Credit Union by 5pm (close of business) on 30th September 2024.
  • The Cash for College draw will be allocated by an Open Draw which will be held publicly in the credit union office on a date to be announced later.
  • Each winner will be requested to attend our student Cash for College awards event in October.
  • TA presentation will be made to the winning students and photographs/video will be taken at the occasion and published in local newspapers, social media, or website and for internal publications.
  • The students photograph may be used in future advertising of the Cash for College draw.
  • The decision of the Marketing Committee of Clonakilty & Dunmanway Credit Union shall be final.
