The habit of saving is best started early. At Clonakilty & Dunmanway Credit Union we encourage parents/guardians to open an account for your newborn baby as early as the year dot! We actively encourage children to save.
Grandparents, parents and guardians can lodge funds to Baby Accounts but only a parent/guardian can withdraw funds.

All baby accounts opened, get a free €15.00 lodged to their account. So no excuse, not to join today!
- Baby accounts are from 0-12 months of age.
- Account must be opened by parent/guardian of child.
- Child’s original birth certificate or passport.
- Child’s PPS number.
- Photo ID and proof of address of the Parent or Guardian who is opening the account on the child’s behalf.
- Membership of €1 to hold shares with Clonakilty & Dunmanway Credit Union.
- Minimum lodgement of €10.
